I need further clarification of a marriage transcription I found at familysearch.org. of Isaac Laney to Mary Porter at St James, Bristol Gloucestershire on the 24 Sept, 1863. Does someone have access to the original parish record to elaborate further on this following transcription; that is add more information that is missing.

Does anyone have any information on the history of Eastern House, Landemann Circus? It was formerly Lewisham House Boys School (1891-1932) when it became Eastern House girls school. The school closed around 1939 and the house was then used as a Red Cross Hospital during the Second World War. After the war in 1947 Joseph Lucas Ltd of Birmingham bought the house for use as a convalescent home for its employees. In 1967 the house was bought by the Regional Hospital Board and was converted to a 60 bed hospital to treat elderly and chronically sick patients. The hospital closed in 1986.
Could you please put me in contact with Mr Brian Hancock of Weston-super-Mare, regarding a question he placed on the web in 2007, on the whereabouts of a Mr Thomas Duffett Lord, born about 1830 in Gloucestershire, and a schoolmaster at Woodlands near Frome, before emigrating with his family to Australia in 1870, and moving to Castlemaine in Victoria, where he died in 1916.
She led an interesting, and frankly, sad, life in many ways.
She was born in Axbridge in c. 1835-36 and appears in the 1841 census as living in the village with her family which consisted of Mother (Mary - listed as a schoolmistress), 3 sisters and a brother.

For some years I have tried to find the date of the birth of William Gadd, so I can purchase a copy of his birth certificate. He is a direct ancestor. He was born about 1846, in Luxborough, Somerset, the local parish register gives his date of baptism as 13 September 1846. I have the certificates for other siblings, all were baptised within some six weeks of birth, suggesting he was born around late summer 1846.
