hello
I have been looking at the family of Edwin BAKER (1815-1882) and his wife Hester (nee Grant).
I believe that they had at least six children - Edwin George (1844-1929), Ann Archer (1846-1858), Maria (1848), Sarah (1852), Elizabeth (1855) & Harry (1858-1868).
I have found the baptisms of the four girls (all baptised on 13 August 1855) and Harry (bap.1858) in your transcripts for St Andrew's, Banwell.
However, a search on ancestry.com also shows that Elizabeth and Sarah BAKER (children of Edwin and Hester) were baptised in the Methodist chapel at Banwell in 1855.
Do you think it is possible that the children would have been baptised twice? Why would this be?
