May 2012 Update
Posted on 1st May, 2012 by Pat HaseMay 1st sees the first instalment in a new series of Family History programmes entitled "War Hero in my Family" which can be seen on Channel 5 looking at the experiences of relations of well known celebrities during WW2. If you are near Clevedon on May 15th you could attend a talk covering a much earlier period of Military History given by our member David Milner.

Talk at Clevedon - 15th May - "Enlisted for Drink - the British Infantry at Waterloo"
Posted on 29th March, 2012 by Pat HaseOn Tuesday, 15th May, 7pm for 7.30pm at Clevedon Community Bookshop 27 Copse Rd Clevedon, one of our members, Dave Milner, is giving a talk entitled Enlisted for Drink - the British Infantry at Waterloo. Tickets, priced at £3.00 including tea and coffee are available from Carol Price - pricecarol@yahoo.co.uk Tickets are limited to 25 for the evening, so please let her know if you would like a ticket. A donation from ticket sales will be given to the British Legion and a collection will also be made on the night.
