Hi, I'm looking for information on the family of John and Catherine Ford of Congresbury. From the Parish records I know that they had the following children:
Mary (1713), John (1714-1720), Sarah (1719), Jane(1721), Ann(1726)
John died in1748 and Catherine in 1735. I believe their daughter Sarah married William Wilkins in 1746.
Does anyone know who John and Catherine were? when they married and where they came from or does anyone know what happened to Mary, Jane and Ann, did they marry and if so who to?

I am looking for possible grave of my Great Grand Mother she lived and died in WST in 1907 her name was Maria Warner nee Mitchell. Also interested in any info relating to the WSM abbitoir which my Great Grandfather ran for about 20 years, where was this located. He later emigrated to Canada in 1913 with 13 children
Information I inherited, when I took on the task of compiling the Societies Concert programmes suggests that the Society was founded in 1865 almost 150 years ago which is what is prompting the query. It may even have been at an earlier date than that. Does anyone have any information about this matter? Or can anyone suggest where I should start looking. AlbertWm.
I wonder if you would be able to tell me whereabouts (plot No) in Milton Road cemetery my Husbands uncle, Ronald P.G.Staples, is buried. He was born in 1919 and died, aged thirteen, in 1932. We have found other family member graves there but not his. The Staples family kept a shop and dairy furthur along in Milton Road and later lived at Manor Farm, Worle.
I am trying to find out where my great grandparents were buried. Its definetly in Weston, can anybody advise me who to approach. It would have been in 40s - 60s.
My grandparents were from WSM. I have lot's of info about my grandmother, Brydah Rose Rattle, and her family. I can't find anything about my grandfather, Joseph Harold Fredericks (born approx. 1890) a dentist, but his father died before he was born, in South Africa fighting in the Boer War. I believe his mother's maiden name or step father's surname was Midgley. This is the second name of my aunt, Roma Midgley Frederick ( born 1915, now deceased). My father, Harold Paul Frederick, was born in Oct 1913 in Pontypridd, Wales before his family emigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
