Sorry to add this I second time but I found an image of the census. The master record states St Lawrence Somerset, the image suggests something that looks like Wick prior to st lawrence.
Discovered my Great Great Grandfather on a Census return from Wales stating his place of origin being Somersetshire and what looks like it might say Wick St Lawrence. I can't see him as being Baptised there or any other reference to Briffett in Wick St Lawrence, although across other parts of the county there are a lot of Briffitt Briffett and other corruptions of the name. His father was Called George, both were farm labourers. I'm kind of stumped at this point any ideas would be cheerfully recieved.

I am trying to find out where Robert Cleeves 1748-1818 came from, he raised his family in Butcombe but I can't find his baptism. Does anyone have any advice?
Overcombe House published by CanneC on Thu, 20/12/2012 - 15:19
I wondered if anyone had any information about Overcombe House in The Shrubbery? I know that some flats have now been built on the site. It was owned at one time by my grandfather and then my mother and I thought they said it had previously been a nursing home. Just curious.

Does anyone have contact details (preferably e-mail) for Sharon Poole, please? I'd like to speak to her about a photograph that appears in one of her excellent publications.
