Who was Sexy BURROW?
published by Pat Hase on Sun, 01/07/2012 - 22:29

When my husband's 4 x great grandparents, Joseph & Elizabeth MARSHALL were married in Winscombe in 1775 one of the witnesses was a "Sexy BURROW"  see our transcripts - (Joseph married as Joseph MARSHEL).  Sexy appears again the following year as a witness to a marriage of a Thomas MARSHELL[sic] and was eventually she gets married in 1784 to a William ADAMS.

I've found a baptism of a Sexa BURROW in the original records on fiche in Weston Library - she was christened 25th Feb 1759 in Winscombe d/o William & Ann BURROW. I'm looking for Sexy BURROW because I can't find the birth of Joseph MARSHALL and I had thought that she might give me a lead.  As she witnessed his marriage and that of a Thomas MARSHALL I wondered whether Thomas & Joseph were related.

Has anyone else looked at the MARSHALL family of Winscombe?
