Morgan

On the 1911 census his age is given as 30, place of birth as Notting Hill in London and occupation Hawker.  However, there is an Army Record for him under the British Army WW1 Pension Records 1914-1920 (on Ancestry) - his enlistment on 12th Oct 1914 gives his age as 30 years 150 days, place of birth as Notting Hill and occupation Hawker - suggesting that he could have been born in about June 1884. 

This record also names his wife, Caroline PRESTON, gives the date and place of their marriage and the birth dates of his first two children so it is the correct Arthur MORGAN.   It also says that he was discharged on the 30th Oct 1914 - so he didn't last very long in the Army!

Thanks Pat a lot,thats strange as my Auntie Daisy (Arthur,s her Father ) said she thought he had been in the army but, apparently he left with trench foot.!!!
