Thank you again for finding this information! I did have the burial site already for Ewart James and probate of wills, but the newspaper article on the death of his father Jesse James was an unexpected and welcome surprise!

Thank you so much for the information, however I could not find the medals/picture you describe on that link. We actually have some medals of Ewart James, so I'm not sure where these are coming from......should be kept in the family.

At the top of Grove Park (possibly Grove Park Rd) there was a school called Hazelcroft. It was an all girls school. In the Boulevard close to Albert Quadrant X Road (it would have been close to where John Hodge had their offices) was a school called something like Bambridge. Sorry I don't know when they started. Might be worth a look. Both schools were closed in the 1960's.

A picture of Three Military Medals of above are to be found at www.the-saleroom.com with a biography of Ewart Walter James. Quote: "Ewart Walter James was born in Cheddar, Somerset in 1897; he later moved to New Street, Little Eaton, Derby (with his parents Jesse and Rosina James). Serving with the 9th Battalion Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire Regiment he entered Galipoli on 21 August 1915. ......."

Maybe Rosina is buried with her husband Jesse in Little Eaton, Derbyshire.

In the process of looking for her burial place, I found this following information that you may not have of her husband or children.

Saltley is in Warwickshire, their place of residency on the 1901 Census. On the 1911 Census, they are resident in Little Eaton, Derbyshire.

SUDDEN DEATH AT LITTLE EATON

Mr Jesse James of Little Eaton, died suddenly on Saturday night. He returned from Derby by the last train on Saturday evening, apparently in his usual health, but about midnight, during a fit of coughing, he broke a blood vessel, death ensueing shortly afterwards. Mr James was a well-known as a local Liberal, and was manager for Messrs. Dowding's paper mill. He leaves a widow and two children. Mr. W. Harvey Whiston, the coroner in whose district the death occurred, has decided that no inquest is necessary, and Mr. James' medical man will give the required certificate.

You are right about the HOLLIER connection. Rosina Delilah HOLLIER  married Jesse JAMES in 1895 in the Axbridge RD (Q2 vol 5c p931).

At the time of the 1881 Census she was living in Rodney-Stoke with parents Edwin and Mary and various siblings. In 1871 they were living in Cheddar.
