It was probably a typo error but I don't think you intended to write "Shallow" Factory - They were called Shadow Factories  and there is an interesting article about the Banwell factory on this site concerning the History of Banwell. It also includes a mention about the Oldmixon factory

Manor House, Berrow

Thanks, Marion.

Looking at the 1841 census, there appear to be about 25 separate families listed under "Manor Honk/House".  There does appear to be an old manor house in Berrow, but it doesn't seem likely that all these families would have been living in the Manor House itself.  Perhaps it was just the closest landmark to a row of unnamed cottages?

Absolutely correctly Pat, but, if I may add - it applies to the actual moment the person was actual living in the parish, and does not necessarily mean they were still there the day after the event, or indeed the day before. Many events were performed stating the address or place at the time of the event when in fact the person actually lived elsewhere, for instance a male living at shall we say Moorlinch marrying a girl who lived at Burnham, and the ceremony taking place at Burnham, in those days often meant an overnight stay at the bride's home town, which was then stated somewhat ambiguously in the register as such. Excellent pratice work for budding Sherlocks though!

Of this Parish?

If you are simply looking at marriage records then I understand that "of this parish" could mean that the person only needed to be living in the parish during the time it took to read the banns - i.e. 3 weeks.
