Pen & Sword Catalogue

I have been sent a catalogue by Pen & Sword Books in which there are many useful and interesting publications. I will take the catalogue to monthly meetings but here is a taste of what is available. Under the “Aviation” section are titles such as: “Adventures of a Cold War Fast-Jet Navigator”, “Boeing 707 Group – A History”, (as well as other makes of airplane), “Combat over the Trenches”, “Royal Observer Corps.” Under “Frontline” section are the following: “Stilwell The Patriot”, “The RAF: Uniform & Equipment from 1942 and the human stories behind them”, “Dunkirk – Nine Days that Saved an Army”, “The Forgotten VCs (Far East Vcs in WW2)”, “The War of Atonment” (Yom Kippur War), “The Scot’s Grey at Waterloo”. Under “Military” : “The Kaiser’s First POWs”, “Against All Odds (Walter Tull the Black Lieutenant)”, and Various Offensives and Pals Battalions of WW1. There are a number of publications of towns and cities in WW2 such as “Cornwall at War”, “Newcastle at War” etc etc, “Horrocks The General who led from the Front”, and a series on Cold War events . Greenhill Books section covers titles such as “Septimus Severus in Scotland”, “Panzer Ace” “Red Army Sniper”, detailed plans of “Warspite” “Birmingham”, Perkins Identification Albums for British Warships, Shipcraft Series for building and modelling warships. “Family history” - Tracing Your Georgian Ancestors”, “Tracing History through Title Deeds” “History”- “Mary Queen of Scots’ Downfall”, “Regina Diana – Seductress, Singer Spy”, “Old English Medical Remedies “, “The Great Illusionists” “Transport” - covers railways, civil engineers, London Buses.
