CommentsWilliam George SMALL published by Pat Hase - 7 years 5 months 29 days ago. | | Weston Crematorium opened in 1966 and it is possible that he might have been cremated. There is a Book of Remembrance online but it only has the names entered and paid for by relatives so is not a complete list of cremations. Unfortunately, William George SMALL is not entered.
There might be an announcement of his death in the local newspapers which are not yet online but can be seen on film in our local Library. If there is time during the Free Help Session on Saturday it is possible that one of our volunteers could investigate this as you have given his date of death as 13th November 1976.

Olive May EVERY nee ATKINS published by Pat Hase - 7 years 5 months 29 days ago. | | If Olive was killed in an accident in Weston it islikely that it would have been mentioned in the local newspapers. They are not online for 1923 but are available on film in Weston Library. Perhaps, if there is time one of our volunteers could take a look for you on Saturday during our Free Help Session. I assume that the accident occured shortly before her death and as she was buried on the 22nd June 1923 that should cut down the time needed to search.
It is also possible at the moment to get a PDF version of a death certificate for a reduced fee - which should confirm the cause of death. The GRO site will give all the information you need to get one.

Olive Atkins/Every published by - 7 years 5 months 30 days ago. | | Dear Pat, thank you for your detailed reply. Yes I did mean Atkins (predictive text issue)! There was some infomation there I didn' know - about the school and also that she is buried in Weston Cemetery, and that Maine Square beame dolphin square - thank you. Family memory has it that she was killed after being hit by a bus but that is all we know as my grandfather wouldn't speak of her.
I have her baptism as living at 6 Sidmouth Cottages on the 26th September 1884, which I think confirms the birth year.
I also have documents that seem to support that Emma was a Gould, in the marriage certificates to Robert Atkins in Bristol. I am not sure about the Bull surname - I will have a further look.
Are you related to the Atkins at all? The other siblings I have are William, John, Alice Maud, MArk and Mabel Atkins.
with best wishes Claire
I have also attached a photo of Lewis Every, Olive's husband on the Weston sea front.
