I think it is Weedling Street as the W looks the same as that for Wingfield a few lines above and it definitely ends ... dling.  Can't find any such name on an old map for Nempnett Thrubwell either.  Looks a very small village with few roads in it.

My best guess is "Richard Ogborn, a dropsical man, in Wadling [Whitling] Street was buryed November the 24th 1782." I am almost certain that is November rather than December. If the 'W' seems unlikely look at William Green half way up the page.

...the 'w' in wife and William look similar to the first letter of this street name.  Is there such a street in Nempnett Thrubwell...?

At the time of the 1939 Register George LARWAY was living at 160 St John Street, Bridgwater. He was a Widower. His occupation was Roof Tile Maker. Living at the same address were Edith M. BARRETT (born 23 April 1911. Married) and David J. BARRETT (born 30 September 1937.
